Not in looks.
Not in what they say.
Just in what they are.”

A Rainy Day

Saturday, April 29, 2017 0

Today is a rainy day. It has own beauty. Specially in winter, we love to lay down on bed with a soft blanket. Isn't it such luxurious feeling?? Or you will shout at me to be such a lazy man!! Hahaha.....you are free to do that. Because I know you people love me.

A rainy day often carries our minds to those Golden days of childhood when we used to play, sing in the rain. The guys from village like us have more special memories. It reminds us how we had been rebuked by our parents for being wet in the rain as it catches fever too quickly. But who could resist us??

A rainy day also caries a man's mind to his beloved. So, a poet is born who wrote beautiful poems on rain, love..........Rain, rain, rain.....Little little drops like a......etc. etc.

Where is My Young Assam?

Saturday, April 29, 2017 0

Now a days, while India as a whole is aspiring for a Young India, are we Assamese youths awaken for a New Assam. Yes, nobody can deny that Assam is lagging far behind some rapid growing Indian states. That's absolutely a bitter truth.

But, let's not get pessimistic. We still have time and if we will, we can completely change the entire scenario. We have the confidence, because nobody has potential in India like Assam do has. Here is tremendous Human Resources and also Natural and Mineral Resources.

But, before that, we have to see ourselves in front of the mirror. Let us analyse where is our faults.  Entrepreneurship: It is the bud of blossoming a new business. If we look closely to Bengaluru then we see that hundreds of new ideas of business born every day from the enthusiastic minds of youths. Some of the most successful ideas are Flipkart, Snapdeal etc. But this spirit of entrepreneurship has not born till today in our cities even in Guwahati. There is a strong urge in Assam that our youths need to establish small scale businesses. Innovation and Technology will help them tremendously.

An Outlook on India's Online Newspapers

Saturday, April 29, 2017 0

With rising of India's presence in global affairs, reputation of Indian newspapers are also growing internationally. In this context, media plays a vital in shaping India's diplomacy abroad. We always see a collaboration between Government of India and its domestic media which aims to seek the best possible interests of India in foreign policies. Let us have a brief look at some prominent Indian newspapers with online presence.

1. Times of India: Absolutely, it is one of the frontrunners of Indian journalism. It has a glorious history. It is known for its Clear and Bold statement. It can influence the views of majority of Indian scholars. Now a days, it seems that TOI the progressive mood of Modi government and does its best to derail any political obstacle which comes in the path of country's development. But it also has a sharp eye on the negative aspects of Modi government which is strongly criticised.

2. NDTV: It's born out of a national TV channel with the same name. NDTV has some Bad Ass guys like Barkha Dutt who often comes into focus due to her controversial remarks. NDTV is pragmatic who can even goes to against the feelings of Indian peoples to achieve attention. Recently, it supported the famous Rape Documentary by British filmmaker which itself raped Indian identity internationally.

3. FirstPost: It is a newly emerging paper. But surprisingly, it immediately captured a lot attention because of its pragmatic strategy in projecting news. It also has an international audience as it covers broad worldwide subjects which is not usually seen in Indian media.

4. Quartz: I will say, it is a mysterious paper. Hardly, anybody believes that it is actually an Indian newspaper. This is because it seems that the paper does not have any emotional attach with India or Indianness. It is more for international audience than to India's.

There are a lot of Indian newspapers like The Hindu, India Today, Indian Express and many more which also have similar reputations. But, now we are running out of time to discuss all. I hope, next time we will take them.

Jorhat - My Second Home City!!

Saturday, April 29, 2017 0
Jorhat! Its a city of dream! City of Hope! Thousands eyes with a dream walk everyday on the streets. It is more famously known as the cultural capital of Assam.

Before I got admitted to one of the prestigious college in this town I had experience of few days of living in Jorhat as I took participate in a meeting few years ago. But I have rediscove
red Jorhat after joining JB College.

Really, Jorhat is a clean city comparing to other cities and towns of Assam. The people are also helpful and very civilised. Jorhat is also a land of history consisting many worthwhile places to be visited as a tourist like Gym Khana Club, Raj Mao Pukhuri, Dhekia Khowa Namghar and Majuli which has its own identity and no need of a new introduction.

Borua Chari Ali
It is a part of my loving memories of Jorhat. The days that I spent in Borua Chari Ali will always hunt for me in future. I can guarantee that!

Jorhat has much potential to stand up as a prosperous city in Assam. First it   has Human Resource of very high quality which is required to be used very wisely. Using best minds, an environment of entrepreneurship can be developed in the very heart of the city.

The impressive presence of a good numbers of institutions of Higher Educations like JIST, JEC, KU, JBC, AMC etc can contribute to the progress of this city.

StandUp Assam!!

Saturday, April 29, 2017 0
It is to be noted, here I'm saying "StandUp Assam" not as "StartUp Assam". This statement clearly reflects the present situation in Assam, a state of "Incredible India". Although it is started, but apparently there is no Start Up movement in Assam. Let avoid economy, Assam after all has no stand of influence on centre's decisive making. So, we desperately need a StandUp Assam in a philosophical sense following StandUp India.

In my point of view, Assam needs
to focus particularly to these areas with a strategy which would reflect the spirit of StandUp Assam.
1. Strong and Smart Media Presence which can inspire the spirit of Assamese people to compete in economic growth with other prosperous states of India like Gujarat.
2. Unified Pressure on State Government for taking clear steps to enhance rapid Economic Development of Assam
3. Sense of Regional Pride is to be sparkled among Assamese for inspiring them to contribute their own efforts in the process of the state's progress
Now a days, India as a nation is rapidly progressing India. We need a huge awareness about to StartUp our state's economy to catch up with the rest of India like Bangalore, Gujarat. If it is not today, then when?
